It looks great, really it does. Top marks to Logan.

Sadly I won't be getting it, since Lt Cmdr rank (or any of the others) doesn't last long enough to make it worth buying.

If it was a released as a T5 cruiser or a T5 escort/cruiser hybrid (say with the same BO loadout, hull and shields as a Fleet Escort, with a Lt cmdr engineering slot, 8 weapon slots, but can't equip dual/dual heavy cannons), I'd buy it in a blink of an eye.

Anyway, CBS said no, so that's the end of it (unless it's just the TMP version).

For the most part I do agree, but this is how I see it. When its released (and hopefully thats soon) it will be a T2.5. I have been testing a build on Holodeck now for a while and its working out prety well. Im curently a VA flying around in a T2 Constitution variant and have fitted my ship with the folloing with some prety impressive results: Borg deflector, Borg engine, Aegis sheild and Borg uni console in my engineering slott. I then have Antimatter spread on my tact console and the Oberth sheild console on my science slott.

All in all she performs quite well in solo PVE, and in PVP and Breen and Borg DSE,s. Now obviously the hull is not so great and you do have to have at least one engineering team and hazzard emitters for hull heals (if you an engineer you get the bonus of having mirical worker also) but apart from that its a good build.

I look forward to the realese of the new end game gear as well to see if that works out better, but for now I'm quite happy with this build and its more than sufficiant for anyone looking for a T5 connie, which let's face it...is never going to happen.

Pretty Sweet!
Sweet? That's a hot looking ship.

All these new ships are going to be spending quite a bit of time grinding away at my resolve to bank Cryptic Points as a Lifetime Member...

.
It does have the " the things gotta have a tail pipe " console (can't remember the name) that can shoot torpedoes at cloaked ships.

Correct. I think its just a default registry. Most of the new ships have "place holder" registry's, but it was indeed the constitution. The Exeter's is 1672. (Which is the new class name of this refit)

Also the name of the console is the "Ionized Gas Sensor Modual".
