So I have learnt how to link to sector space by specifying which `door` a map links to.

If for instance decide that the next step in my story requires a player to go from system X to system Y in a different sector block can I link the map transfer directly?

I basically want an option that allows the player to skip 20 minutes of pointless flying across the galaxy to keep the plot and pace movin along.

thanks

Yes, don't worry just create maps and do map transitions normally and they will flow easily from one map to the next without worrying about sector space. In fact to make flying through sector space happen you have to 'finangle' the mission abit either by using a social map , or other trickery.

One note though. The player will be returning to sector space where they started your mission so storywise if possible I'd recommend you return back to to point near that system.

In fact, I've always wanted the player to actually travel around the galaxy with the mission, but it's always instant, so don't worry about it.
