First of all I like the Duty Officer system as a whole. Well done!

Now on to my random thoughts and suggestions covering the whiole testing experience so far.

1) Sardeea system patrol (part of patrol the Xarantine sector). Its a nice little mission except the SS Rover is way to slow. I have always hated that mission because of it. Ater clearing all the enemies I had to wait 10 minutes just for the Rover to finish the circuit. Either let it complete after we clear the enemies or increase its speed. It's very annoying

2) The assignments to evaluate bridge officers is very confusing. I skipped most of them because of their long time complete (3 days) and their abysmal success rates. Until i saw a post that said even with disaster you would still get a white officer. So it won't really fail. That should be in a tool tip somewhere. If a dev had not posted that I would never have known.

3) The give some type of lecture at the acadmey assignments are nice but 3 days to complete seems a bit to long. I mean if I am sending a seasoned Starfleet officer to give a lectue in their field of expertise it shouldn't tkae that long. A day or even 12 hours is much better.

4) With FtP only getting 4 BO until they hit captain I am thinking the way New Officer are assigned should be changed. Currently it's totally random. However, having leveled up to Commander now on a Tactical captain I have gotten exactly no tactical officer offered to me. In fact, when I hit Lt. C and got my tier 2 escort I had to go buy a tac officer because I hand't been offered one. This could potentially be very frustrating to new FtP players. I would suggest at least once every rank you get a choice of BO's with the new officer assignment. It doesn't have to be every time but once would be nice.

5) The dillithium shortage. I have no idea what you guys plan for increasing where we can get dillithium but currently, according to Steven D'angelo, the new revisinos to how much you get from Quinn on level up will still leave you short. If this is the case and the sources of dillithium don't go radically up I would suggest the Gold memebers, who have spent all this time getting free ships on rank up, be given the appropriate amount for a new ship. This would be a really nice Gold member perk.

I have a Tac at Captain 2 or 3, I agree with most of what u said, except for the bridge officer part, you get bridge officers as rewards for playing several of the story line missions, which u get to pick Tac, Eng or Sci.

I like ur gold member/dilithium perk idea, I think that would be a great perk that would make membership well worth it.
