Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
its a corvette that can stand up to a 80 year old former capital ship/former heavy cruisers/current light cruiser. that's impressive for what it is, but its little more then a yippy little dog to anything modern and reasonably sized. but what ever is fan favorite is most powerful in game, with the exception of the akira. if they really wanted to be accurate, their wouldn't even be high tier escorts, and the galaxy and nebula would be alone at top tier.
the +1 akira's console is a point defense system, when active its a turret with a 360 degree auto targeting scatter volley that does triple damage to spam, but will shoot anything.
Pitiful how limited this ship system still is. There is no such thing as diversity or customizability.
Im really saddened on how the new Defiant is being released. Not with a Quad console but with stupid purple dmg x3 or dmg x4 weapons. Which is about the worst ship modifier you can have. In other words its junk for PvP'ers.
For the rest; All nice ships are being released for t1 tru t4. In other words its CRAP.
Scaleable system is what we need, or somehow to upgrade our ships to Tier 5.
The one thing I always love about PvPers: they always have their minds made up even before the testing starts.
If only PvPers could use their know-the-outcome psychic ability to predict winning lottery ticket numbers rather then how good or bad a ship will be before they try it they could create their own game.
i honestly realy dont see how hard it is do program a ship from being tier 3 to tier 5 it might be harder then i might think in my head but donst seem like it cuz ist just more slots and changing some numbers
what i dont get is the ignoring of the thousands of threads comments and other wanting this ship in tier 5 and telling cyptic they had it wrong and they need to fix it

It is not hard at all. Putting any skin on any frame is a piece of cake. It probably would not take more then a week to do it. That does not change the fact that doing that is not what Cryptic or CBS wants to do.
Personally I would not play in a game where every beginning ship was as tough as every end-game ship. It defeats the entire purpose of having new ships: and it is counter to the ideas of Trek and the fact that they have had ship progression for 45 years now.
And it is not thousands of fans asking for this. This forum does not even have thousands of fans posting it in. It is just a small group of people who post a lot.

Perhaps you should do some maths, and you will come to the same conclusion. It's no speculation or prediction, its a fact.

Kthx bye
Perhaps you should wait to see what the released Quad Phaser stats will be rather then basing all your assumptions off of a closed beta build where we only know it has an extra DMG mod and know nothing else about it. That might be a good idea. Yeah.
