Not a big fan of his company, but it saddens me whenever someone passes away.

Pancreatic cancer is almost 100% fatal.

Edit: Not to be insensitive, but prepare to witness a short term massacre of the company's stock price. He was the glue holding that company together.

That is really sad.

I didn't like his company and I don't think his company can exist without him.

It still sucks whenever someone dies.

Can't say I didn't see this coming, what with the health scares and the stepping down as CEO. All this despite claims that everything was a-okay.

My heart goes out to the family, watching someone die slowly from cancer is a very traumatic experience.

market that would change the way people learned and interacted was in the PC no matter what its case name.

Sad to see about anyone go ... but for it to happen slowly like that is hard.

Apple is big enough I've no doubt it will rebound but it's never going to be quite the same.

Whatever you think of his products, you have to admit that Jobs was a great idea man. He was always coming up with some grand new notion to push the company toward his idea of the "ultimate computer experience".

Don't know if he was always going the right way but he sure wasn't afraid to blaze trails.
