You can add the T4 Intrepid to the list, with a photonic shockwave torpedo ability. Was talked about and the ship itself was revealed on STOKED.

It is all canon if the people who created star trek say or show it is and can be opened to interepretion it is not set in stone. Since nemesis was changed due to money problems and nothing else its still Canon.
Officially canon is limited to what we've seen on screen. Thats it. There is no "if thats what you believe" thats has always been the official word from paramount/Viacom/CBS (or whoever owned what part of what franchise). Everything else is just soft canon. And I'm also not sure why siting Memory Alpha since their own article on what constitutes canon goes against what you are saying. And I think you are also assuming to much with the term "refit" it could be anything from what we saw the original Enterprise go under, which I'm guessing you are assuming is what happened here, to overhauling a few of the ships internal systems that you wouldn't be able to tell from the outside. And since this refit E was never shown on screen. It's not canon. In anyway shape or form.

# 33 New Ships...what ones?

Any idea when the new ships will come out? Or which server they are being release on 9Tribble or Redshirt)? I've tried looking but it's confusing how they test different things on different servers, you'd imagine everything would be on 1 massive test server.

Why does there need to be an intermediate design?

Starships aren't like automobiles, there's no real reason that they must have "intermediary designs".

True that officall canon is limited to what we see on screen but as i have stated several times on here that John Eaves who designed the E, has mentioned on his website that the E refit is canon in shape and form.

Anyway back on topic. Just saw the new definat (Sao Paulo) design and it looks nice not to different from the definat class expect that the nacelles have been switch around.

Its is not that, it is because us old time fans of star trek love to see the canon ships in games. Most ships have a specific purpose e.g. crusiers are generally muilt-role ships in star trek but can also have a speicallity.

There is no Canon ship between the Excelsior and the Ambassador Class. No Intermediary design, as was talked about earlier in thread. That's what I was referring to.

I would love to see more Canon Ships in the game. I would love to see that the game is expanded upon to allow players to "time travel" to certain eras and have missions/adventures within those eras that have enough content to put a player through 5 to 15 levels.

Which means maybe bringing out more pre-Federation designs or immediately Newly Minted Federation starships, more Earth Delta Class, maybe something post NX Class, Andorian Ships and maybe deal with the Earth-Romulan War.

Then maybe a whole series that takes place within the TOS, then we can see the Saladin, the Dreadnaught and maybe a TOS rendering of the Reliant and some old Klingon ships.

Maybe ignore the Motion Picture Era, since most of those designs were continued on and used in TNG, but maybe some missions limited to designs available in that era with crews dressed in the uniforms of the time.

Yes, more ships, more Canon ships, from all the series. Even some ships from The Animated Series...

Wa-hey! Redshirt has the new akira? WELL then. I'm glad that didn't get lost in the epic discussion of canon that consumed this thread....

I think they should come out with the Steamrunner Class ship/skin for the Fleet Escort maybe? or even as the escort for the earlier levels...

It's canon and it's very cool.

So come on!
