Doing some Tribble testing, and in DS9 ops, there is a Boff requisition contact. He offers lots of blue boffs for Dilithium, and they don't have a single untrainable ability between them... but there is also a "C-Store" tab... Where you can buy a Aenar Engineer that happens to know AtoSIF3...

Not a very big deal, but definately worth mentioning.

I should also mention that T3 ships in the C-store are very convenient... as when you rank up to Cmdr you don't get enough Dilithium to buy a T3 ship, but have to grind for it...

On a positive note; the Dilithium grind is going to kick some life back into low level PvP, as PvP now pays Dilithuium on all ranks!

Hasn't the Aenar BOff with Aux2SIF3 in the C-Store been out for a little while now?

It's not coming. It already exists. Check your C-Store for the BOFFs. IIRC, the description states where to use the token to get these BOFFs, and if you visit that vendor, you should see a similar C-Store tab with similar options. (Actually, I believe it's the regular BOFF vendor?) Check the Exchange as well, you'll see some of these Aenar and Caitans on there.

Only thing missing so far are Efficient BOs. :p


I am also pretty sure this topic of P2W was brought up back then as well. But then, most people ignored it. It seems it takes a while for it to register what it really means for the game, and thanks to that, the game can safely churn along in that direction.

I take it the loosing team also get dilithium.

Good news, everyone!

PvP rewards are still limited by Dailies, so don't worry, no AFK Dilithium Grinder has to grind more than 3 matches per day, so things don't get worse then now!

Also, you don't have to bother that much with PvP anyway, since you won't get any Merits or 5th Level Badges or similar stuff anymore either... (not sure about EC).

Don't have to worry about PVP? I don't care if cryptic gives me 1million EC or nothing at all to do a PvP match I'll still do it beacause it's the only thing I REALLY like in this game

The real Pay 2 Win is that Vice Admiral ships will only be available for Cryptic Points. :p

Yeah... this disappoints me.

What is the current state of the per-match rewards? Do we still get EC? And do we get dilithium per match, just like we get medals per match now?
