An app would be outstanding. THe issue is that the app would require the author to have access to the game server. In otherwords, Cryptic would have to make the app

I definitely think there should be both Android & iOS STO apps.

App should be able to:

1) Manage your mail
2) Manage your exchange items
3) Manage your DOFFs

It would be. But cryptic won't do it.
They had an iphone app for champions but didn't support it after a few months so it no longer works.

I think an iPad application would be rubbish. Just focus on getting a Metro version out for WP7 and Windows 8 instead of this hippy nonsense.

This could be very good for Cryptic they could potentially charge up to $5 for this app for Android or iOS and I would probably buy it.

Indeed it would have to have either a one off fee or a monthly purchase as part of a sub or monthly cstore point purchase.

Could even interest people who have never even heard of the game before. Make it an independent minigame as a trial version that ties into your live doffs with the full version.
