# 1 Downgrading the Excelsior ???
10-14-2011, 05:54 AM
After reading the recent Dev posting on the homepage, it lists the Excelsior (retrofit) under Rear Admiral level on the chart. What does this mean? I do not understand. Will my current T5 Excelsior be downgraded to T4 status? Will I be forced to fly a Galaxy if i want a T5 Cruiser for my Engineer toon? I am so confused after reading that chart, it makes my head spin. I do not like using or playing with the Galaxy line, and hope I am not forced into owning one as my T5 Cruiser.

The excelsior refit has always been available starting at rear admiral. Rear Admiral is still tier 5, the VA ships arent better than RA ships, just different..

To clarify for the OP, T4 is Captain level...making the Excelsior RA level means it is still a T5, so no change there.
