With all the things that we need to carry with us on ground missions youíd think that both the Federation and the KDF would take a page out of Batmanís book and get better belts with more compartments.

We need to carry
Large Hypos
Borg Frequency Re-modulators
Some Type of Tribble
Large Power Cells
Large Shield Cells
Breen Cryo Grenades
Borg Nanite Grenades
Our Pimp Cane
Borg Stun Grenade (Name escapes me)
Borg Nanite Hypos (Helps prevent Assimilation)
Rare Blue Hypo (Helps resist holds and roots)
Various food Items

It would be cool if the new STF ground sets complete bonus gave you an extra 4 ground device slots.

Iíd just prefer that we all have 8 ground device slots standard and have an option to acquire more ground device slots by equipping ground gear sets.

We need Back Packs with various pouches for more ground devices and side mounts for our secondary weapons when they are not in use.

Sometimes itís just inopportune to have to break combat or halt progression to go to your inventory to switch out various ground devices.

Double seems a little escessive to me.
Are those things you've listed really 'needs', or are they more like 'wants'?

Usually I just go with large shield charge, large hypo and a remodulator :p

i'm with Dan Tranior i don't even USE ground devices at all (except for the remodulator for the borg, but only because it's needed)

Why even drop borg specific items then when you don't have the space to use them?

Of course people don't really 'need' hypos either. Considering how many people I've seen running STF without one I guess we can safely take away the remodulator too.

Even a 50% increase would be helpful. Perhaps it will happen sometime next year with the next major season update.

Oh gods,

Are there really that many new Ground Devices now?

And the toolbar bug still hasn't been fixed, so each time you swap ground devices you have to fish around in potentially hidden toolbars to see where the ability's been allocated? (Instead of replacing the current device ability, which is how it works in space.)

At times I wonder if some of these priorities aren't deliberately trolling the players.

This just forces you to pick and choose.
Besides, a tribble is good for what, an hour? Why do you need to keep it in your ground slot? you're not going to pet the thing in the middle of a battle...
