Hats off to the rework on the new stf space fights. I really enjoyed both Infected and Cure today. Able to target everything, with the consequence of drawing in reinforcements.

They might be a little too easy for 5 tacs in escorts but I see no reason why any combination of ships/classes can not do these now. Much better with less targeting frustration and more situational awareness.

Now a couple of suggestions if you will.

Infected...
Make the gate slightly smaller and increase its damage slightly, also move the transformers inside of 10k so that someone actually has to tank the gate so that the rest of the team can deal with transformers and adds.

Cure.
Increase damage to cubes slightly, the positions are already good for one tanking cube while others work on probes.
Increase the spawn rate of adds going for the Kang so that it needs serious defending, not a great deal just slightly higher than you guys just did. Think of it liken to the old KA where we had to balance our forces.

This is what many of us have been waiting for something challenging, but not to ridiculously pain in the rear extremes.

I agree the STFs are at a good point now. I was in a group earlier with 1 tac captain, 2 engineers and 2 science. We completed the infected space with about 3 minutes left on the optional objective.
This is good.

I agree, it plays much better now for mixed groups.

Minor bug in infected but that might get fixed with next weeks patch. The auto team kicking at the conclusion of the mission messes up the optional loot.

I dont think they butchered them at all. They are much more balanced and polished and accessible. Why don't you read the newest dev blog and get ready to try them on the elite mode. Not to mention clearly they have stated now there will be much more end game content coming after this f2p push. I'd expect many more stf story arcs including dominion, romulan, iconian etc.
