RCS consoles are horrible. Almost anything is better than that. If you want a fast turning cruiser, fly a klingon retrofit, as I can get mine to a turn rate of 37.1. If you want a fast turning fed cruiser...

RCS Accelerators aren't necessarily horrible, they're useful for federation cruisers in terms of helping get into a torpedo arc. Using more than one though is simply a waste of engineering console spaces in any case.

He's actually kind of right. RCS consoles are a percent increase so +35% makes an escort especially zippy while the low base turn rate of a Cruiser doesn't benefit nearly as much. It does work. It's just barely noticeable and as has been noted already, there are any number of better options.

The RCS consoles would only be worth it / fair, if they were a flat turn rate increase.. like "+3 to turn rate".

This would take a ship from say 6 to 9 base.

Until they do that, you have better options.
