In the post only three professions were mentioned. Science, Tactical and Engineer. What about command medical and security, or will these come under the three mentioned above? eg. Medical comes under science?
Will similar combat take place aboard ships? eg. Boarding parties?
How bout with the defensive mode instead of being just having ur members wait 4 ur orders 2 attack u also hav another option when ur in battle where they take a defensive position well still engaging the enemy
Will beaming off the ship immediately mean ground combat starts, or will there also be beaming off for helping denizens evacuate/investigating a murder/diplomacy/trading etc, and if failing, a battle ensues ?
Will, in that case, the "kits" also give buffs for healing foreign disease/diplomacy/trading etc or will they only consist of "battle skills" ?
Will ground combat consist of only people running around, or will there be 25th Century versions of tanks, jeeps, personnel carriers, aircraft, etc.?
Will we be able to drop, roll and fire our ranged weapons? Kneel, squat down, or lie prone and fire ranged weapons (to shoot around obstacles/remain partially in cover)?
Is it possible to order our ships to fire upons a target on the ground, like what happened several times in the original Star Trek series?
Will jamming enemy communication be possible, or would it only be used as a plot device for Episodes?
Will natural disasters play a part in ground combat, such as earthquakes, tornadoes and monsoons? For such phenomenon as earthquakes, it would be interesting where the playing map changed from one moment to the next.
Is it possible to capture enemies during ground combat, to be beamed out to the brig/holding facility for interrogation?
Is site-to-site transports possible during ground combat?
Will fauna and flora be possible obstacles/opponents?
