I personaly think the gekli pet is not the best idea ever.

It looks like a whoopie cushion with fins following ships lol and the timing they released it is awfull.

they should have released this after the F2P release

Who would want that? We want more missions where we can kill 5 groups of ships. With stuff we can buy from c-store...

But, yes, Cryptic is not paying attention to it's current consumer base, a dangerous move... look at another company that made that mistake recently.

I think this was a good idea on Cryptic's part.

The majority of their time and resources is on Tribble at the moment. This is obvious, its not like we were not aware. Subs are likely down at the moment as those that have decided to adopt a Silver over their current Gold model and many will be having a month off or two. Many have already mentioned that this was probably a lunch break creation so time and effort isn't likely wasted here. For collectors of any fluff, this seems like a good move for Cryptic to add a little money against lost subs. And besides, you don't have to buy it if you don't want to. I haven't.

And yes, i am aware this is not true content. Heck, i would love something new (i.e. Doffs, Live, Now!!!) but i can already see what is coming from spending the majority of my STO time on Tribble, with one VA Fed leveled and a Captain 1 on KDF.

I am here for the ride, and i can always get off if i'm not happy. No one is forcing me to play. I haven't even had my LTS for a full year yet i show considerably more composure than many of those that got this at launch yet they still find it necessary to display Anti-whatever signs (i kind of guessed right who would do this from my time on these forums, yay me!). Nice to see such beautiful support...
