I'm having systems look at Torp Spread right now and see if we have a problem
It's true. No dev actually reads the pvp boards, otherwise there's simply no way they could only be finding out about this 'problem' now, when cubes in the elite stf's are 1 shotting people on tribble.
Yeah I just made a post in one of those threads. There's another one complaining about Donatra being boring, and Gozer said he'll look into Torp Spread. One dude made a post with about 20 100k+ oneshots from a Cube AND THE GATE (?). And the STF has only been released for a few hours now. So naturally, now that the pve complaint is only an hour or two old, Cryptic will get right on it.
*pssst* if we form an aliance with the pve crowd maybe can can sneak some of mav's thread into the game before any pvp content will be released, we all know that that is going to happen soon™ though
A new patch came out that broke pengs so that hazards instantly detonated the secondary explosion. If this had been the only problem, it would have taken months to fix. Luckily the same bug that broke pengs also broke personal shields in lol pve. It was fixed less than 12 hours later because the pve'ers cried...
it may be the spread overlooks that torps have a small AOE damage radius, 0.3km IIRC. So if the chosen targets of the spread are all close together, each target can be effected by not just it's "allocated" volley, but also by damage from a nearby volley as well.
This is just stupid. Not at all surprising but absolutely stupid. Hey Stormy, if you happen to be around could you ask someone if this is really the first time they've heard of this issue? kthx
