yeah, you have to fly far enough away from the main area & you avoid the respawn. although, i kinda like the skirmish at respawn, so i don't want to avoid it :p

I've noticed some klinks spewing warp plasma out of their BoPs lately. Silly people, hazard emitters and any engine boost will get your ship right out of it. It's really only a tool cruisers should be using to protect their hindparts. Trying to stick an escort with it is generally going to be FAIL.

Actually, the fact that the BoP can run circles around you makes it an incredibly effective tactic. Couple that with a SNB, Tractor Beam, PSW or some other kind of disable and it's really bad news.

On a semirelated note, I understand that there is a doff which adds a chance for Warp Plasma to disable you. The way Warp Plasma has been acting lately I'm concerned that maybe some part of that has slipped through somehow. I really do think something is fishy about this skill right now.

Perhaps I've just not seen it employed "effectively" yet.

I'll check it out next time I find myself in it. I usually tag APO or Hazard + evasive if I get in it... so I'm never stuck for more than a second or two.

Sometimes, even when I do hit APO befreo reboot, it still sticks me

Activate APO at last second of countdown before reset. It works. It lasts 15 sec, and reset doesn't last more then 10.

and frankly as annoying as it is to wander into the "blue tarbaby" and try to get back out, I find it no worse than GW, TB or any other holding and/or DOT ability.
