Eh, I'm doubting that they made anything actually bigger. They just removed the giant double stack of crates from behind the commodity brokers and replaced it with a single box just behind the gravity sled. Opens up the room a bit, but it's only aesthetically bigger.

This was unexpected!

Really like the new lighting in ESD, it gives a much better atmosphere. The scale is improved too.

However, the adjustment to the scale has resulted in some of the console placements being a little off, so it needs tweaking here and there, especially in the shipyard, but other than that, I like it. It's certainly better.

You guys should check out K-7 while you're at it too. The warmer lighting scheme makes everything feel a lot less like the blue fluorescent lights are sapping away the life from everything. The only weird spot (imo) is the ESD transporter pads. They look a little odd to me when they're dark like that.

EDIT: Also, I'm fairly certain that the topic of this thread would clearly classify it as "feedback" instead of "discussion"

Be nice if we got something other than consoles and touch up art coming from Cryptic.

I agree 100%. The console textures have been the same since launch. If they could add the textures from the upcoming Defiant interior (-the MSD of course.lol) that would be great. Would make it feel more like a federation base.

Yeah, it's too bad all we've got is consoles and touch-up art. What's up with that?

Would be nice to get the LCARS displays and consoles seen on the upcoming Defiant interior.
