Certainly thats what the F2P faq says.

Quote:
For now, we know that some previously purchasable playable species will soon be free (Ferengi, Rigelian, Pakled, Tellarite), and others (Liberated Borg, Joined Trill, Federation Klingons) will be earned through other means. If you have already unlocked access to any C-store items, including playable species, you will retain that access in the free-to-play transition.

Now, those are all bonuses that aren't in any other trait, that I'm aware, but it still feels like a nerf. I rolled Joined Trill to play a scientist, not a healer.
Same here. I can understand that with the changes to the skill tree that some changes would need to be made. Changes.. not a nerf, which this obviously is.

Lets just hope this gets fixed before it goes to holo.

I got the impression it would be a DOff reward. I can't think of any reason they'd rather sell it for dilithium instead of C-Points.

i thought geko said that in terms of consoles which seemed to have less 'power' they are in fact still the same because of the way the skill tree is now worked out. i imagine the joined trill is the same?

Well its not to be expected this is due to the tweeking of the skill tree. But Cryptic really should give us something compromable, because people paid a lot of money for the Deluxe to get the Joined Trill.

I pointed out, that even if the numbers are higher, you still lose the power from the efficiency bonus of the warp core training, and the eng and sci skills aren't as versatile now, only focusing on the healing skills.

Less versatile, even if we're getting 'more' from the points.

Operations use to boost all science abilities. Fixing your shields does not equal "All Science Abilities" so yes I find this disagreeable as well. Bearing in mind that Crossfire game changes have really messed with most of our ground traits, in a primarily bad way.
