I would love to see J'mpok overthrown and buried face down in a field somewhere.

He lacks honor and taints the honor of our Empire.

However, I do NOT want to see our Empire shackled to the Federation as if there is one thing my working along side them has taught me ... they will try to convert our people to their way of thinking, stepping over the beliefs that are the foundations of our people.

No, the Klingon Empire and its allies have no place as part of their ... Federation of Planets.

I must agree with P-A-T-H-F-I-N-D-E-R.

We are Klingons. We have our pride and traditions, our very belief is shaped by our concept of honor and it is our identity. Many are those who throughout time has tried to conquer the Empire, from the ancient enemy H'urq to the Fek'lhr, even the mighty Borg has failed to assimilate us. And then should we let all the blood that has been spilled to preserve the Empire mean nothing? Shall we then consider giving up our heritage only to be assimilated by the soft touch and heart of the Federation?

I have a great respect for the Federation and if they were not enemies of the Empire I would welcome them in my home. But welcommng them in my home is far different than giving them the Empire. While they stand by their values and have integrity in their own fashion, they would seek to change us. For us to be like them, we would have to abandon our traditions, our right to challenge a weak captain. Our rights to demand honor be settled with a bat'leth. Our entire way of life would be at risk. To join them would be to risk assimilation just as surely as if we allowed the Borg to come to Qo'nos.

It is said to win a battle at the cost of an Empire is no victory, and to loose a battle to save an Empire is no defeat. I would rather loose the war with the Federation than join it, if loosing this war allows the Empire to exist. J'mpok might already have set us upon that path, and though I do not have any fondness for the Chancelor, he is the Chancelor. For now.

If you disagree with J'mpoks methods of government, then CHALLENGE him!

I too dislike him and find his methods dubiuos, but if he is so wrong for the Empire then gather support and put challenge to him.

We are a people of action not one that uses fancy speeches or requests for change.
Take what you want!
Make your reach as long as your grasp and foster change if it be for the good of the Empire to do so.

"I did challenge him. The honorless ******* threw me in Rura Penthe instead of facing me in honorable combat.

One day ... one day .... but today the Borg are on our doorstep, so what is best for the Empire is to face our enemy.

Then a D'K Tahg through his heart in honorable combat,"

So says Hauk of the House of Rha.

I played it but honestly, it's all a bit of a blur. I really don't like the KDF side.
