I was in a PvP match and was hit with subspace rift. The power's effects never went away though. 10 minutes after being hit with it and it never went away. The only thing I could use is Science Team. The bugs with this power need to be fixed because in its current form it is overpowered if I'm unable to do anything indefinitely.

Its not the rift its self, the perma stun comes from being pushed out of the rift while stunned.

I don't understand why we have subspace rifts. Subspace weapons were banned by the Federation. They shouldn't be in use.

According to canon the odds of a Tricobalt device creating a subspace rift are ridiculously low, like less than 1%... which is why the Federation uses them, and then only during very controlled circumstances. People really shouldn't be flying around popping these like they are standard torpedoes.

That is true. However, a subspace rift is only formed by adding high yield to a tricobalt torpedo.
