Specifically, the fed equipment. I mean, I understand you devs have to compensate for not gviing them content, but why can't the feds have stealth, or shields that are actually usable? Resilient shields arent ever going to happen.

What exactly is wrong with resilient shields?

Low capacity, low regen rate. No serious player will ever use them.

Resilient shields are quite useful, and I think you greatly underestimate halving the bleed-through damage, and vastly overstate the effect of their lower regen and capacity. Besides if you really don't want them, there is a set with Covarient shields and Regenerative shields, and I know I have to suffer using those shields if I want those bonuses rather than some nice Resilient.

Resilients really do need a decent set, so why not the STF set?

well.. why can't the klingons get the resilient, and feds get the covariant

I think my Joined Trill KDF character should be able to get the federation Elite force set, and my Federation Klingon should be able to get the KDF Honor Guard set.

I really dont want another KDF v. Fed thread. I just want the fed equipment not to suck so bad.

Unfortunatly this is a KDF vs FED issue.

If you want one of the new STF gear sets that is even close to as good as the old borg set you have to play KDF. Its a shame but at the moment its true.
