A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
This is a great place to start with keybinds (copypasta into the chat window):
/bind Space "GenSendMessage HUD_Root FirePhasers$$+power_exec Distribute_Shields"
"c" has both copies of EptS
"space" has fire all energy, and redistribute shields.
"shift + 1,2,3,4" are my energy presets, i switch often, (maybe not often enough)
"x" depends on the ship and is mostly for TAc BOs. I move stuff in and out of the trays that it activates depending on mood, I often have onlhy on skill sloted, but sometimes move another one up there if i have two copies of an offensive skill, like sci-ship subsystems abilities, or BF@W ...
They absolutely are not. I've never used keybinds and I manage pretty darn well in PVP.
I prefer not to use them either, then again I will not own an automatic transmission either. I don't like to put anything on automatic, spoils the fun for me. However, I do know it puts me at a disadvantage vs a guy who auto distributes shields, runs 2 copies of EPtS auto cycled, etc. I just hate to use 2 copies of any skill, regardless of the advantages, it gets boring to me (the build gets boring, not the game). Although some simple keybinds that just allow me to use a key instead of a mouse click would be wise, I have just been too lazy to set that up yet.
