If a fed doesn't want to become an easy target in Ker'rat must go with a Defiant, even better with a comrade, because its cloak ability allows an untroubled farming and it is also possible to do the same dirty trick against the klis!

A very useful tactics is to deploy a couple of Defiant always cloaked around a group of feds, ready to pounce on a klis decloaking to attack. They are like the nuclear submarines (SSN) escorting a carrier naval group!

Whew, tons of klinks in kerrat last night. I had to make sure I had both APO1 & PH1 loaded on my defiants to deal with all the tractors!

Yes, they have been favoring tractor beams as of late. I already run APO but I did swap in a Sci BOff with PH for extra protection.

Now I just have to find away to defend against the pay2win pulse.

ker'rat is the closest thing to open pvp we have. PVPers of both factions fight there.I fly my dreadnaught there protecting the feds doing the missions, & my klingons there targeting the feds doing the mission. It's fun.

# 26 Ker'rat Is The Best...

I like Kerírat and think it is the best mission in the game. I agree with most of the posts here.
In my opinion Klingons, for the most part, are OP there primarily because they cooperative with each other more and are better Team players in that particular mission.
Kerírat is a Team based environment. When someone cries that they want a 1v1 in Kerírat it tells me that they and their faction are not cooperating and that they are frustrated.

I am in Kerírat a lot and have seen many good Federation players waylaid simply because no one wanted to change out Boffs to adapt to the mission.

I would love to see an enhancement to the mission where you could beam down to the green planet at any time and engage in open Ground PvP and PvE (Borg).

Is it true that that Romulan guy (Star something) is the most dominate player in Kerírat and that all Federation players fear him?

Oh yes... he is certainly the most lethal opponent I have ever faced there.

Star who? Ah...that Star, the romulan guy always talking nonsense! Adm. Quinn told me that himself, kill that romulan once and for all!

Gripple dominated me with that graviton thing. My eng/def has ET1, so I could have countered it, but I didn't think of it, stupidly. Probably surprise factor because that was the first time I've faced it. It didn't help that Grip was running two TSSs at one point. Couldn't dent his shields often, leading me to switch to my tac/defiant so that I could have some burst.

If they keep up with the pay2win pulse I may have to switch to a Fleet Escort so I can bring along ET1.

Sigh, there goes another respec token.
