I'm honestly curious. Why must Klinks always attack me when I'm engaged with Borg and covered with their plasma and shield neutralizing spam?
Is there some special honor in this? Is it really that enjoyable to do? Is the tactic at the top of page 1 in the BoP operator's manual? Or do you do it because you can't kill me in a straight up fight and therefore must take me when I'm damaged?
I don't mind it once... OK, you got me, yay. But when it happens 2, 3, 4 times... really? REALLY?
Can someone please explain the reasoning or fun behind this?
uummm.... because the standard BoP has about zero chance to kill me if I am NOT engaged, and a pretty good chance to pull aggro if we start a turning fight near borg-land. Which - of the two of us, smart money would be on the BoP to PoP first if we both get tractor treatment and shield love from the Borg.
Seriously - and I play Fed almost exclusively - pair up. In Ker'rat there are plenty of easier targets, a BoP or Raptor is really not going to mess with a cruiser/anything or escort/anything pairing. And two sci ships? They might. And end up in perpetual grav wells / tykens with zero engine power and dwindling hull.
I sometimes will protect PvE'ers by shadowing them. It's funny to watch a klink get ****ed when I blow him up before he blows up the PvE'er/farmer. Usually it goes "damnit crimson"! from the klink, then the fed thanks me. I should charge a "protection" fee :p
OP, if I am logged in PM me if you need help while in rat space. I love beating up the -x- squad
LOL! Don't you know the klis are always the bad guys? They love stab in the back the feds when farming at Ker'rat! But as you can see there are powerful feds ready to get even...now go to Ker'rat and be ready to fight to the death!
