Oooooh do want.

I'm throwing this on my BoP. With GW 3. And if I'm feeling super evil, maybe Scramble 2 and EWP 1.

use BtEngines, then after they use ET to clear it hit him with the console, GW, & EWP. I'd throw in a Tractor beam just because i'm a jerk like that. maybe add a tricobalt mine or HY torpedo for the lulz.
*edit
Almost forgot the cloaked tractor mines. & SNB
I think i'm gonna put my sci in a b'rel & try this build

Can we have more stuns offlines please? I just dont think theres enough.

Inst-death for Escorts -most likely. Then again any engine stun ability is nearly death for an escort..
Had it in a match last night and saw no great impact from it. THough I am not skilled in its use and was not runnig it on a Sci/BoP set-up.
It was used against me once or twice and that was wierd but not crippling. Spend the stun time boosting engine and defenses and trying to run until it wears off.
The most i remember seeing in time was maybe 10 seconds of engine /turn stun but nothing more.

Sure somebody can take this console and designa round it to deadly effect but no more deadly than a fully spec'ed CPB/PSW/SS/GW/etc etc build as it is. Its a weapon and nothing more.

I did not have ET on my build but had ST1 to start that I switched to PH1 to counter the TBs, so I never tried to counter the GPC effects.

When you have a "stun" that ;asts for 5 seconds or more, it's nearly impossible to recover from. Its pretty much insta death to cruisers aas well.

a general stun yes, though the Graviton thingy doesn't do a general stun only engines/turnrate/speed. Which I did not find to be that debilitating if one is prepared for it.

So does Auxiliary to Dampeners work against this? If I have it running and am hit by a Graviton Pulse, will I not be effected? Will using Aux2Dampeners clear it while I'm affected, or make me temporarily able to maneuver?

Good question. Seems like it should help to me.

Which leads me to think of multiple counters for powers. Is it a bad thing if there is still one prime counter and a few mind you secondaries thatb have lesser effect?

I ask becuase it just seemed that such would mean that timing of said powers/consoles/etc and getting your target is the more important thinmg then and the AoE's become nice due to secondary causilties being a bonus.

You as targets could efend to a certain degree but not possible escape unscathed.

If anyone has this console and is interested in testing its effect vs Auxiliary to Dampeners, send me a message or mail in-game. We can put it to rest.

I do not see how A2D would help but with screwed up mechanics and the bleed over some of these console skills have it is in the realm of possibility.

While APO grants flat out immunity to movement debuffs, A2D grants flight speed and turn rate improvements so I guess it's probably a soft counter also.
