Impressive. Only one can dream. I think the Developers have thier hands full atm but it would be cool to see these but some of them are already in the game just not as accurate as they are in the movies.
I know alot of them are in the game but it would be great if they gave them the proper detail. Like, one thing that bothers me is that in my Galaxy Class bridge is an Akira Class instead of a Galaxy Class. And since they havt TOS bridge set they should also include an Enterprise one, TMP & Wrath of Khan sets also. Something else they need to make are bridge sets for the Vulcan ship. It doesn't seem like a Vulcan ship with a Federation interior. With any luck they'll look at these and use them to make the sets more accurate.
The TOS Ship available at the beginning of the game, is a "modern" to the timeline rendition of the TOS Constitution. It's likely a smaller ship and significantly more automated than the TOS vessel, thus a crew of 100 is fine!
I like how they included a set of "Intrepid" style bridges, yet these are still bridges that are too big and just seem like there is too much open space, as if I'd have to yell across the room to get the attention of my Ops officer. I know that they said camera collison issues have made them make sets bigger, but considering you can zoom the camera in over your character's shoulder, I don't see this as an issue.
We need a traditional style bridge, i don't see how anything else made sense from the start. By the time SW:TOR comes out next year, they will only have us Trekkies left to please, and by that time it MAY be too late to impress anyone without a lifetime sub, even if it is F2P...
And this is why I'm posting these. They're basically to help get the actual look for the bridges. And I know what you mean, they do look like you have to yell across the bridge to get everyone to hear you. I first noticed that with the Galaxy Class bridge.
forgive my cynicism but its just not gonna happen.
this has been mentioned several times and still I am wondering.
They added a "intrepid" brdige pack (for a small fee in the c-store mind you) and it does not even remotely look like an intrepid bridge.
anyone remember the old "real" sto screenshots when it was in development at perpetual?
