@Alimac
@RogueEnterprise

I admit ive not played the foundry as much as i should recently so off the top of my head those two are at the top. I know there are a couple of other but their names escape me.

^---- This guy.

I know there are plenty of authors out there that I can count on for engaging story, good non-combat focused missions, or a creative story.

But if I want to play a single, stand alone, mission that is completely solid and feels like Trek; I know all I need to do is search for Revo. That qualifies as favorite for me.

Would like to try and revive this thread... what with F2P happening and whatnot, I was wondering if any new authors has caught anyone's eye?

Haven't played that many yet, but I can tell you I've definitely struck on some great ones!

XR-377 because "A Will and a Barclay"

The.Grand.Nagus because The Dailies are beyond useful

Captain_Revo because "The Worst of all Worlds" can't wait to try the sequel!

RogueEnterprise because "Good Intentions" and "First Cause, then Effect"

I look forward to checking more of your missions!

I should really finish my first so I can throw it up here on the forums...

I really liked that one...just played it today and honestly it's only the third Foundry mission I've tried but it was polished. I didn't see any blatant typos, or godawful dialogue, or any problems, really.

The other two - which I won't name - were full of superfluous dialogue that was badly in need of an editor and numerous bugs despite being among the highest-rated missions out there.

FCTE felt professionally-done. I used to beta-test lots of community missions for Operation Flashpoint and I found that's where most fell flat...not that the mission itself was bad, but that it lacked polish to the point where you knew you were beta-testing something made by a fan and it hurt the immersion.

Haven't played many Foundry missions... but here are my favorite Foundry Authors:

@Captain_Revo
And the one who made the "Deadly Intentions" series. (Forgot his name)

Captain_Revo.

His mission design is to the Featured Episodes what a dry rub is to a fat back rib.

So, it's been a while, and I've seen some new faces crop up and some old ones return. So I ask you, who are your current favorite authors??

-Nagorak
-Kirkfat
-Alimac30

There are several others who are top but I feel these three are true pillars.
