It's a large increase in the instant shield heal, and the resist seems buffed as well when fully specced (which is easily done because it's a Tier 1 skill). When I got over a million healing in that CnH I mentioned above, I noticed while buffing my shields before re-cloaking, I could go from shields at about 15% to 95% in 2 or 3 seconds. Basically, I hit TSS3, then hit space bar to distribute my shields - boom, instant shield heal. Adding that to the heal & resists I got during dog fights equals self-healing master.

My scibop should use it to heal teammates like crazy. WIth her astrophysicist trait, it should be even stronger for her. Tested that one solo in kerrat for a little bit right before bed last night and I was only in danger when three or more feds were on me. Otherwise, my health wasn't in too much danger except for blips immediately after beam overloads.

For TSS you can check on Redshirt as it hasn't been patched to the new skill system. Old system my TSS2 on an escort with 70-ish aux was about 800-900 instant, 200-300 regen. On holodeck now its ~2000 instant, 500-600 regen at about the same aux.

All the powers that effect healing in the lower tiers and damage powers in high tiers, wtf why?

Basic FvK gameplay is that feds rely on healing and defensive, Klingons rely on damage and offensive.
Feds defend, Klingons attack. Either Klingons knock down the fort or we fail and its over.

Skill tree changes saw almost all defensive powers like heals go to lower tiers which benefit fed game play more than klingon, Shockwave stun duration took a nerf , not that it needed it as you can now eng and sci team while stunned, which is retarded. Brel took a massive nerf with these changes, all while defiant gets buffed with extra console slot making it completely outclass the already useless raptor.
Can't get consoles to buff stuns duration anymore but i can get consoles that make my TSS and extends even more epically retarded than they are.

Tac shockwave bop is now impossible to spec as good as before, while federation heal boat all beam cruiser is easy as F**K to spec.
Fed gameplay doesn't need high spike to achieve victory, while klingon gameplay it is a requirement.
Spike got nerfed and healing got buffed.

The change removing weapon type skills was pointless as non specific energy type consoles took a nerf, which means you need to run all of the same energy weapon type.

Summing up, in my opinion all the changes suck and anyone who says otherwise lacks an in depth understanding of the FvK PVP game, which sadly includeds the devs.

Just like in every build of STO, all the pathetic must win players switch out their builds for flavor of the month cheese. In season 5 its no different, With certain players loading up on duty officer multi grav wells, epic repulsors and insta kill FBP. Torpedo spread is no long flavor of the month, due to its nerfing.

PVP in STO is a complete and utter joke and only good for pugging cheesefests. Premade vs premade is long dead due to the broken and imblanced game and don't get me started on the V word.

TOR coming soon and hopefully end game PVP is balanced around player feedback and extensive dev playtesting unlike this game.
Or, we just need a tactical worthy BOP with 4 Tact consloles, 3 engi consoles, 2 sci consoles, 4 weaps front 3 weapons aft, MVAM equivalent (turnrate etc) and with slightly lowered hull, higher then heghta though. 35K or something.

I'd like to see such a ship @ klingons for a change, I love the BoP but if you just want to use it as a damage/heal ship like MVAM or Defiant or whatever its never 100% equivalent to a Deffie or MVAM or AE....

I just want to fly Klink like i have on Fed for once. I dont choose raptor because its flawed in my eyes, same reasons as you probably. lol. But the current BoP's are all pretty weak imo, if you dont make real use of the universal slots and use a defiant/mvam similar build you are just raping yourself

^that has been one of the main reasons I keep returning to the fed side really...

This why I asked about TSS. I'm fully specced into it for my Tac BoP and my stats are not near these described numbers - even when I go full Aux (125).
Possibly a wandering bug associated with the use of something else?

Interesting, cuz I'm only at about 47/25 Aux on my bops with TSS3. My defiants and raptor are at a similar power level but with only TSS2.

I think they should keep it this way. Science was way underpowered before and now it can finally almost be up to par. Cryptic, I think you need to let all science crafts also do the "Deathblossom" from the Last Starfighter as well, because that will assist in the balance issues.

I mean.. just go the full 9 on this, if you are going to do it at all.

I shall do the same.
I'm all for fixing the broken but only if its truelly broken and not an example of just a good symetric specilazed build with proper skilling.

Winning becuase something is bugged (wether known or unknown) is not winnig and I'd rather not win that way when flying around Ker'rat.

As I said in another thread (paraphrased for length) I wonder if the skill tree is doing to good a job of buffing certain skills?

PS: Do you use Tactical team as part of your shield healing? Possible its having an unexpected buffing effect?
