Both ships come with a [Console - Universal - Tachyon Detection Grid].
Only the [Console - Universal - Tachyon Detection Grid] on the Advanced Research Vessel Retrofit is usable on "any console slot on the Advanced Research Vessel Retrofit"
And the [Console - Universal - Tachyon Detection Grid] from the Advanced Research Vessel is usable on "may be slotted into any Starfleet Science Vessel in any console slot"
i know what you mean, it is the same with the excelsior retrofit T3 and T5, T3 you can transwarp to any fed sector but with the T5 it is everything else except, sirus, regulus and pi canis. It is ridculious. Both ships are same overall too.

Sorry, but no. The T3 Excelsior can only transwarp to Sirius, Regulus, and Pi Canis. The T5 Excelsior get the 9 transwarps.

Really where does it say it can transwrp to all 9 areas. After the tribble update on the C-store it says only the T3 can olny transwarp to fed areas while the t5 can transwarp everywhere else but not to fed space. Please prove me wrong!
