I have a couple of the Mk X space set pictures. AFAIK the Mk XI visual still aren't working but I assume they look the same when equipped.

MACO on the Maelstrom Fleet Escort.

It's very subtle so may be difficult to se on this resized image but it looks good 'in the flesh'.

Honour Guard on the Hegh'ta

Another subtle set and probably my favourite.

Omega on the Bellerophon

I really don't like this one, it makes the hull look dirty and unclean but it has nice stats. Now if only the Tetryon Glider actually worked.

Honor Guard space set (Mk XI):

Effects: No visuals on shield
Set 2 Bonus (Tactical Readiness): Completely broken
+6.5 Aux Power Setting: Nonfunctional
2x +16 Alive Crewman Resistance: Two of these? Why? Especially when crew have little/no effect anymore

Set 3 Bonus (Mask Energy Field): Needs serious love
Mask Energy Field effect cannot be disabled when activated... effectively making you unable to fight for 18 seconds. 5-second defense bonus does bring up a buff icon and may be working, but unless you can time your attack 18 seconds ahead of time, provides no value whatsoever. The only use for this right now is as a poorer version of Mask Energy for those who want to use it until it expires, fire and then cloak immediately, but without being able to control the timing. Feds will call you out or report you for exploiting if you do this, as well.

The MK XI MACO shield effect is currently busted. Doesn't change the look at all.

Are we sure the Graviton beam works 100%. I've been using it for about a week now, and I really can not see a difference it makes when I hit it. I've tried hitting an Aux battery before and I just don't see it working. I think Beam overload works much better. As for visuals, I can't tell a difference on my San Paulo or Jem'hadar fighter. Which sucks.

Even with a Tactical officer boosting the power up to it's game limit, the damage has been, shall we say, "Sub-par" when compared to other abilities such Beam Overload. Hopefully BorticusCryptic will give us an update when he can to let us all know if it is "as intended" or being revised.

Pondering on the space sets. Just throwing it out there but it would be interesting if these "one off" items could get added into the existing sets in some manner.
  • Paratrinic Shield Array
Perhaps this would be a viable KDF Honor Guard shield?
  • Combat Hyper-Impulse Engines
This would be an awesome engine for the Omega Force set.
  • Efficient Impulse Engines
Since the MACO set is all about boosting power levels this engine type makes sense (to me anyway).
  • Prototype Gravitic Modulation Impulse Engines
This plus the Reman Covarient Shield and the Dev team is 1 item away from a functional Reman set all it's own.

I am perhaps being a little nostalgic from leveling my first character up and discovering these items for the first time. Their uniqueness really gave me that "oh wow" moment and felt pretty rewarding doing the missions. Just throwing it out for everyone to consider.

Update: The first peak on the new set changes for space is out, Linked here.

Those who have the maco engine, have you noticed with the engine you get thicker visual of the stars flying by you. I did a test with my maco engine and borg engine and you can see with the difference. Ideal the borg engine is better but the maco engine looks so cool.

And I just thought I was hallucinating since I switch engines so much while on the quest for the perfect build.

Whereas, the visuals with the Omega is my favorite. The "Starfleet" (MACO) one looks more pristine and "pretty", and the OMEGA to me is a "I went to hell and back" type of look. When I think of MACOs (or special forces), I'm thinking more dull tones rather than shiny standout tones. In fact, when I went for a "space set" that was the selling factor for me was that functional tones/look rather than sports car-ish look. But then again, I'm not a big space PvE/PvP person, so a lot of the "bonuses" for space means little to me, so I'm going for the one that makes a ship looks like it's for the down and dirty jobs. I love the look of the Omega on the fleet escort.

Will I get a set of SF/Maco space, yes, but I probably won't equip it. Is there a chance (if not already done, thinking off the top of my head) that we can make the space sets act like the ground sets for the visuals? That is even though they aren't equipped the look can still be seen on the ship (after you complete the set)?
