i find MT to be one of the better players in the game, he is quite consistant in his feedback and performance in both premades and pugs.

besides that he's cool to banter with.

Do you realize that the rarity of the officer has absolutely no impact on the balance implications for matches where this officer actually happens to be in?

An example to illustrate the situation:
Say you put the Death Star in the game. Only a single copy of it. It is invulnerable and oneshots everything it targets. Is this balanced because there is only one of it in the game?

My problem with *this* +1 ship is its the first ship to "side step" their previous statement that big things like ships would stay account upgrades. I'd have no problem with this ship if it were another awesome 2000 CP ship that unlocks for your account.....

But it isnt. Its a potentially 20,000 CP ship that unlocks for one character.

If this were the only time this ever happened, I'd be thrilled. My guess: This is how new ships will be delivered to us. As something we gamble for, that just happens to be "tradeable" to justify a new one char restriction.
