i figured the art upgrade for this ship was so it could be made playable. but omfg, those stats have to be a joke. there's no way in hell they can be right.

first of all, any ship plucked from the 2370s, especially a ship with the size classification of a corvette or less, could not be higher then tier 2, no mater how powerful it used to be. and it really wasn't that powerful to begin with.

ok i needed to get that out of my system. those consoles, wow. you gave it the IDEAL escort, or even cruiser console layout. science consoles are basically worthless for escorts, you are in no way gimping it by only giving it 1. sure, after the console change sci consoles might be a bit better, but they can still only defend you from 1 kind of science attack each, so they are still suck. if they were more like the alloys or armor it could be argued that they are useful.
why all the engineering consoles? its not any more engineering focused then it is science focused. being able to load 4 engineering consoles on an escort is a massive advantage, and extremely useful to ever ship type. basically the opposite of having a bunch of science console slots. in the case of this special 1 off ship, it should have 1/1/4 for its console layout. its more accurate, and it is made up by its outstanding universal stations, turn rate, etc...

plenty of offense and the opportunity to load 5 of its stations with engineering? this isnt a ship that can be killed if used by a talented escort pilot. again its not being hurt by the lack of science, its being helped. as in exchanging science skills for engineering skills helps it

so it moves nearly as well as a bop, and has raptor hitpoints. the defiant is so dangerous because of its turn rate but this blows it away. best escort escort stats by far, full time MVAM movement stats by the looks of it, with the most durability.
well i cant lol any harder at these stats if i tried, they are just absurd. its clear that whoever stat-ed this ship doesn't play the game enough, or at least doesn't pvp. please don't let the person who stat-ed this stat the odyssey class, or anything else.
if i were to stat it, so it would be at least somewhat balanced, it would look like this-

if i do luck out and get one, for its universal consoles i would load both as engineering. i'd equip 2 EPtS 1, ET1, AuxtoStruc 1, and RSP 1. tractor beams might be a problem, but that's it. plenty of healing and shield hardening with above average hitpoints and no firepower loss.
seems like their method of balancing this op ship is to not make it wide spread. thats par for the course, they have never paid much attention to all the exploits that have been pointed out, this ship is just one of those! a few people have an op ship, a few people use exploits! everything is working as intended!
