Looks like your ATI is over heating dud you need some cooling on it ATI has a problems with heat issues and they tend not too last very long i had a ATI that only lasted a week be for it burnt out on me when you see stuff like big blocks looks like its over heating you can check your lapys heat temps with this program i hope And like i said Laptops tend to over heat if they have a power full card in them.Heck even with my desktop My case is home made i have four big dual fans cooling my system and my video card jumps too 140F so you might be pushing the limit at 160F if you got a Air compresser with a air tool hit that **** up while its off i bet there is lots of dust in it as well i clean out my desktop once every two weeks. If your on earth space dock for a long time the video card temps will jump from 140F too 150F Ive been looking at my temos every time i play too make sure its not over heating.

I've measured the GPU temperature and it never exceeds 59 degrees C. Also, no other games experience any graphical errors.

One thing to do is update your drivers. Now, this isn't a simple process if you have one of those annoying switching between integrated to descrete graphics setups like in my Acer. Easiest way to d this though is to see if you can force your system to boot from the descrete card (my Acer has a media key to do this instead of using the regular power key). However, in some cases, that doesn't always work, you will need to disable the integrated graphics and reboot the machine. Use the 11.3 Catalyst Mobility drivers as they have te least issues with this game over all.

Ok, although HP declined to provide any updates, I was able to locate updated drivers on the net released just on 11/15. These drivers work great!

I found the drivers at in case you are interested. Neither ATI nor HP offered these to me.

Issue resolved.

I've been having the same issues with my ATI card. I installed the update at the link provided, and the problem was resolved.

These guys have to be better at offering these updates. Thanks for the link!
