May we put in an Urgent Feature Request: Log of Gold & Lifers' Stipend Credited to our Account.
With a slew of players asking "Where is my Stipend, I never receive it, When will I receive it?" both on this STO Forums and STO Customer Support emails, it's clear that Cryptic urgently need to implement a Log of when Gold & Lifers' Stipend was Credited to our Account.
~When was the 400 Promotion Points (C-Points) credited to your account?
~Show full history of when this stipend credit, perhaps for the past 2 years at least.
As the stipend is effectively a form of real cash that is credited to your account, surely there must be some legal obligation for a history to be show? Any lawyers out there?
Cryptic has customers in fifty States and probably hundreds of countries so even a lawyer is not going to know what the laws are in every location Cryptic does business. However, at least in the one experience I had in California small claims court, the judge tends to put the onus of evidence on the company rather than the consumer. When the cell phone company could not produce any evidence that they ever repaid my deposit, they ordered them to pay it in full with interest.
I would expect that most courts would take a dim view on a company which could not provide the consumer with a receipt of purchases if they ended up in small claims court but at least in California, I am uncertain if there is a explicit legal requirement.
That being said, I think it is in both the best interests of Cryptic and the players to have an invoice area where we can look at all the sources of c-point balance changes.
