I agree, although I bought two sets when I first started with the Doffs and get a purple in one. It's definately the frequency that needs to be looked at.

I am a lawyer for what it's worth. I have to say that I don't see any fraud being commited though. If people are interpreting it as misrepresentation then I can't say I agree, solely because the statements that have been made about the contents of the purchasing are not incorrect, even if some find them a mittle misleading.

The only thing I would say is that maybe Cryptic could indicate in the C Store the gamble like nature of the random packs (Winter Box/Doff packs) a little more clearly than it presently does so that those people who are young or somewhat intellectually challenged don't get carried away with the notion that just because they are making a purchase they will get the top gear after a couple of tries. They are lottery tickets, plain and simple and I just think that fact needs to be made a little clearer when you click purchase in the C-Store.

are you really going to leave because you can't get one rare ship that not everyone is supposed to have? do you really think you need an item in a video game that badly?

the amount of people complaining that they didn't get a ship is unbelievable and really unfortunate and even sad.

by the way does anyone have an extra photonic officer that i could have since most people seem to be leaving
Did you ever manage to get that photonic officer?

One of my fleet mates sent me 11 red boxes after i bought 3 boxes from cstore.... not one ship... Just crap... He did give me a Holographic science officer and some other things which was coool too.. Cryptic don't care for our needs as long as the money is rolling in... they didnt even mind putting massively's review on their front page that kinda attacked them about this either... so....

Yeah.. i have bought about 5000-6000 points today trying to get the jem'hadar attack ship.. still no luck.
I understand the lure of "Jem'Hadar Attack ship" in the christmas boxs but i've spent enough money to bloody well buy half the fed ships on the C-store.. and for what.. bloody hoortas and bajoran gratitude beads. :Cardassian:

I do take responsibility for my actions of course it was my own fault for doing it.

EDIT:

I'm giving away all my crap i won from the christmas boxs so give me a shout @nyxium.
If i have anything left i'm happy to part ways with it

Ya know it is what it is, ya know what you was getting into from the begining we all did, i have spend around 25 dallors i guess havent gotta a ship may try a little more but my point is no body made me do it, my only complain is getting a blue box in a red box i thought this was kinda cheap and annoying but still no body had made me do it .

So i'm now a little over 11,300 C-points used. Still no ship. It is kind of a cheap tactic that they use a better escort with a sheer luck drop rate to bait people and then stick them with at least a third of the boxes being a lower quality than the one you paid for.

Yes, i know that no one forced me to buy them, but at the same time, they knew this would happen, they planned it so it would and they did it any way. Shame on cryptic for bad tactics, and shame on me even more so for still going along with it.

I actually got a letter from the MA attorney general's office asking for some more information so people need to keep complaining to their AG's and the BBB,it may actually keep gaining traction. Play up the foreign owned company angle too, less sympathy for them from US AG's, especially in an election year where they can get voter brownie points for smacking down communist China a bit.

So it may be wrong and when then company is foreign it's more likely to be wrong and if the political system is not popular it's far more likely to be wrong.
What happened to justice being blind again?
