Please restore the shield power bonus from the Aegis Deflector back to +5 instead of +1.1. It's bad enough that it's now hard to max the shield performance skill because skill points are so expensive now after the patch, and in escorts I need every ounce of shield power possible. On top of that, the efficient trait for captains & boffs doesn't seem to work right either, further decreasing the power levels I had pre-patch. Right now, I've been forced to take power from engines and put them into shields (why did the +5 weapons power bonus from the borg console stay the same but not the shield power for the aegis deflector?). It's impossible to have the same power levels we used to have in the new skill system; the nerf to the Aegis deflector and efficient trait just exacerbates matters.

I have no interest in STFs, so I'm not going to grind for that new gear. I'd rather spend my time in game enjoying myself in PvP matches rather than grinding PvE. I have five level-capped toons - I am done with grinding and creating new characters. I log in now only for some pew pew.

I'd like to add that the crafting costs of the Aegis set now are absolutely absurd. Not only do you have to grind for the rares, but now it costs nearly 50K refined dilithium to make them. I was completely appalled. Then I started looking at some of the other recipes and wondered if someone hadn't had their medication when they set up the pricing for the other stuff. 95K dilithium for a blue console?

Its not an AEGIS Deflector nerf only, the Borg Deflector also only has +1.1 Aux power. Who knows if this is another bug nobody cares about or working as intended.

Hmm, I didn't even know about the borg deflector because none of my toons have run STFs. That sucks even more then.

Does this mean that I should switch back to a covariant capx3?

I'd like to confirm that the "1.1" figures are indeed a mathematical error that is being addressed for the Borg and Aegis sets. They will return to their previous power contribution figures in a future patch.

Am I the only one that find it odd that my science console gives more points than my deflector dish? The Borg Deflector dish gives +15 to Graviton Generators but my science console gives +18. I hope this will be addressed in the next patch or so.
