Ok. I got to ask this question. Do titles have any meaning in the game. I was under the impression that titles gave bonues while others are just bragging rights.
Titles are just fluff, some are also bragging rights such as "Crash Test Tribble", most can be unlocked in game and have no effect on the characters moves or skills, only the players ego

It's actually the accolade that gives the bonus AND title, i.e. the damage accolades:
