um... they are unreasonably hard. Just.. Isnt right, NPC should work together and use skills like heals, Not just look at u and have ur entire team die. BTW anyone who says L2P i will personaly see they are ran thru an elite STF, and get to experiance the 1 shotting of drones.

Also i sense u are speaking of space, space is very very very very easy compared to ground

Once the ground tree is revamped and live, im sure Jman and Gozer will adjust the borg mobs (and all mobs) to match.

no game should force you to DIE through enemies. Like the elite space portions, it should be mad difficult and require extreme timing, twitch and coordination of your team. But that isn't possible with 100k damage torpedoes with all your buffs on in an effort to reduce the damage. Does the dev team even test this before they release it for playability? or they just give crazy insane damage stats to npcs on eliite and are satisfied that its impossible so its elite now? if a team of five devs have done infected space on elite without one of them dying once id like them to say so.

This is a good point, I had to switch my main character (SCI) who was using a SCI ship, Intrepid Refit, to a Quad Cannon Defiant just so I could complete the STFs successfully and get the optionals. My SCI ship just wasn't making a dent in the STFs. I don't think an STF should make you change ships, but rather challenge tactics for all classes. STFs now are nothing more than high DPS 'get it done as fast as you can' things, its chaos, rather than order.

I agree with this. There are more ways to engineer difficulty into game design without having to OP the NPCs. With the right equipment and tactics, the missions should be doable without anyone dying, even at the highest difficulty. To do so may require a very specialized team, skill, and equipment set, but from what it seems- even those kinds of highly specialized teams are forced to zerg their way through some of the STFs. That's just poor game design.

Conversation is about GROUND elite stfs, space is possible very possible, I can almost tank them in my escort, you just need to know what ur doing. Ground is, on the other hand, impossible (Near). Depends on the STF, Infected is the hardest cause it is the smallest space. AND if that isnt bad enough, the optional forces u to get 100% aggro. In the room. So your dead in seconds. There is no stratagy, its run in, save worker, die...
