There's no Ensign? I thought it had Cmdr Tac, LtC Tac, Ens Eng, and 2x Universal Lt. If it doesn't have that Ens Eng, then I take back everything I said :p

I wouldn't say it's "OP" per se (especially when comparing the turn rate to the MVAE), but I will definitely say that when it comes down to the Bug vs the FE, the Bug wins hands down.

the bug ship is hilariously op. top escort hull hitpoints, a turn rate 5 points higher then other escorts, its a near bop turn rate, only a single dump(science) console and 4 hugely helpful engineering consoles to go with your standard escort 4 tactical consoles.

if i had one, i'd have both universal consoles with engineering. if any sci craziness hits me i would just evasive out of there since i cant cure it, assuming scramble doesn't screw up evasive. any conventional damage you would weather quite well though

I haven't had time to check FBP since it was supposedly fixed, but I know TSS is still broken, only its not OP anymore its UP. For some reason it seems to have been nerfed too far.


Also I don't know why MelineAaele is claiming the Jem'Hadar ship doesn't have an ensign engineer. My sources say it does, those being people with the actual ship. So maybe its just the BOFF ui acting screwy?

Dammit I want to fly the bug.

But alas, after about 4000 c store points I have none. Guess it's just not in the cards for me this hand.

Again if there were no P2W consoles I would say yes. But with the proliferation of P2W consoles and most people running at least P2W consoles the console slots are moot. The Boff layout is meh by default it either be eng or sci. The turn rate may be something and the hull of a raptor is another but not game breaking. Every bug I have come across plays one of 2 ways hit and run, or tries to fly like an FE and I squash them. Now i do not put myself into the Blackjack class of raptor pilots but most I have seen are pretty squishy.

Bring doff into the argument it is very possible to make this ship a powerhouse with the right doff passives. But Doff being so new it will be hard to tell.

This 25/75 forced ground/space thing is disgusting. Looks like 1 day after I came back, I'm heading out the door again.

FBP seems OK to me? Cuba was hitting me with the DHCs on his BoP earlier and I popped FBP 2 (94 Aux, 2 +14 whatever boosts FBP consoles) and I was hitting him for ~200-400 per FBP pulse.

TSS seems back to normal to me, but I haven't looked around much with it to know for sure. I'm just seriously peeved that took away the ability to boost it via consoles.

That's the thing, the numbers are rather low. In another thread someone was comparing TSS 3 to EPTS 1, and saying they have similar values, which is true. The thing is that is comparing TSS 3 at full aux, comparing an ensign power to a LTC power!

However I'm not sure what you mean it can't be boosted by consoles? Are the shield emitter consoles not working? If skills aren't affecting it then that would easily explain why it is weak.
