Iíve used a good chunk of one of my mains Dilithium to trade for 800 C-Points back when F2P test moved over to Holo, Iíve yet to use those points.

Iíve yet to spend any Dilithium on any of my other Characters and generally find other ways to get equipment and skills that I may need.

You really donít need Dilithium if you are already at level cap, most gear and Boffs can be picked up of the Exchange.

Well, with all the missions being replayable at any level, you don't really need to spend any Dilithium on the way up either - mission rewards will keep you tricked out just fine 'til you hit endgame. Of course, you still need Dilithium to buy your next ship when you advance (which still sucks).

Not spent any just saving it up at the moment.

I was wondering what we are supposed to spend ECs on? Before we could buy ships. But now I have over a million ECs and apart from going to the exchange and buying stuff from other players there is nothing to spend it on.

Yes, spending some the DL exchange on items I thought I already had but was mistaken about...
on just one toon at the time being.
Otherwise, no.

I've used very little. I've bought a couple of DOFFs and have retrained a bridge officer or two, but that's it. I have almost 300k dilithium that isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

That's my biggest frustration with FTP. I am having to save up all my dillithium in order to buy a second ship for my main toon. I made RA just after the FTP transition. Previously, I bought an extra ship with every rank up using EC so I could play either an escort or cruiser. I thought the idea with the skill revamp was to let us play more than one class of ships more easily with less penalties from specing into just one type of ship as under the previous skill tree. So they've made it easier for me to fly both an escort and cruiser but quite a bit more difficult to actually get the second ship.

And I can forget flying more than one type of ship per tier on my toon that I am still leveling, because I have to save up all my dilithium for the second ship when I get him to RA.

So, no. I'm not spending dilithium on anything because I can't afford to right now. Flying different ships was one of the really fun things that I enjoyed about this game.

I do as much as possible to avoid spending Dilithium.

The idea of it was pretty good, but the implementation stinks...

Spent about 3k on lower rank stuff from the vendor while ranking up my current ENG Toon...

Been using the bulk of the rest to snatch up a few C-points every day.

Have bought about 12k of Common & Uncommon Materials to build up my ENG's Crafting skill (slowly).

Still have about 170k left between my 6 Fed & 1 Klink toons.
