So after over 100+ races and one red box most of my toons have all the scarfs they need.

The winter event will be over soon and I have a feeling we won't be able to craft the winter food items when the holiday event ends. I figure you'll still be able to trade the items for GPL but I wanted to get some input if spending the items on food or GPL was the best move.

I figure the food is worth holding on to because all the new F2P folks won't have a shot at making a winter tribble until next Dec. So I can see holiday food's value go up in the next few months. Of course GPL could be worth more if the devs ever get around to making new items to spend it on.

What will you be spending you extra winter goodies on?

I'm in the same situation, except I never received a red box for all the racing I've done with 12 toons every day.

Best bet imo is to collect as much of the winter event food as you can.

Isn't the food all bound, the same as the crafting supplies.

Can't keep food around.. since my tribbels will probably eath everything... got all scrafs... and snowballs and boots are useles..

Once WW-Q is over..., the foods to make the Candy Cane Tribble is probably gonna sky-rocket in value..

I'm pretty sure the winter tribble is bind on pick-up.

I know all mine are bound to each character that bred it.

The developers have implied that GPL will have more uses in the future, so it might not be a bad idea to stock up.

The food is good for breeding the Tribble and even now can fetch a hefty price on the Exchange (and I'm sure they'll go up even higher after Q's WW closes its doors), and I rather enjoy the scarves (vanity items though they may be).

I'd REALLY enjoy the Fed scarves if they'd get rid of that pesky color-linking bug (seems to have gone away for the KDF, but it's still there for my Fed).

I think the best food will be Nog's Nog. It's a damage buff and everyone loves more DPS. It will probably be the best selling food on the exchange. Probably will stock up on those.
