Hey Guys now I know I am not really known in here, I don't post much but I am familiar with a number of you as I read a lot in here. I also know that a number of you guys have voiced concerns over the lack of PVP related content on STOked.

Now first I just want to let you know we all know this and while there is a reason (I'll explain in a moment) we would like to change that but it is very hard to do. The reason it hasn't been overly covered is mainly, as I am sure you call can admit, you're all VERY passionate and have very different strategies. Now given that if we put someone that PVPs a lot he might only represent one side of PVP spectrum and others that don't share his view point may feel like they are being discriminated against or being told they are doing it wrong. This obviously isn't true however it can perceived that way so for the most part it was left alone.

Now it would be very nice to have this changed and get more PVP coverage on STOked, so my request to you all is some brainstorming on what you guys would like to see. We want to cover what we can but not focus too much on the details. Maybe cover common strategies you guys come up against and how to beat them, maybe common rookie mistakes. The things I think we should stay away from are thinks like ability A is better than ability C, or here is THE way to have the highest DPS.

Now also word of warning, I myself donít PVP much at all this is something I would love to change however. And my lack of a background may be helpful in treating things equally. And obviously even though I am part of Jupiter Force I am not the host of STOked so I canít promise things will air. I can however be your voice and do what i can.

So what are your thoughts? What would you like to see covered?

then dont have any "one" pvp'r on at a time and instead just talk about ingeneral at first why/how/when pvp stuff is going to be done etc etc...

maybe even have a question posted here and brainstorm then use it in the show?

I am not the biggest PvPer ever either. Still I am interested in it and when the skill change is complete I plan to get on more. That said...

If you have someone strong enough to moderate it I would say roundtable via Skype when you get into individual strategies.

I would love to see an episode in the future cover how some of the PvPers are adapting to the new skill system that is on Tribble. Though I would prefer to wait till we get closer to a final version of that build.

Other topics I would like to see covered, presented as titles. *giggles at self*

*New Science Consoles PvP, and You.

*What Counters What, (there is a thread about this but I could be a little out of date as of the skill systems change).

*How do You Deal With Cloaks?

*How to Break a Fed Ball.

*How to Tackle a Carrier.

*How to Cope with Sci Spam.

*Strategies for Cap and Hold.

*Hardening and You

*Why PvP? (You know where players give reasons that PvP makes them better at the game in general and the difference in challenge).

Similar stuff for ground as we will soon have more flexible characters.

Well, I'd like to see "basic PVP strategies for the n00b"
including, balancing/hardening shields., How to Alpha strike, how to survive an alpha strike. & when to use SNB,
Also, maybe include a PVP primer. explaining how much FASTER PVP is than PVE. the importance of teamwork, Focus fire, focus healing, & crowd control. Why Kirking is bad for you & your whole team, & Klingons are not scary/OP. Also the importance of damage resistance, & how to achieve it in your build & Boff power selection.

This x10000000.

You have NO idea how frustrating it is to be in an Intrepid and have to be handing out my TacTeams to the Tac/Escorts and not have one when I need it.

That and the EPtW 1/DEM 1 Defiants need to stop >.<

I was in a Cap & Hold last night, & this poor dreadnaught captain just kept charging in never balancing his shields. I kept popping him instantly over & over. He sent me a tell calling me a cheater, I tried to tell him that if he'd simply balance shields he would live longer, but he'd already put me on ignore, of course

Great show idea guys this is exactly what I think we can/should cover. And good point Piwright42 abou the ground changes though I think it might effect more then just the one given the split in skills.

But the "Basic PVP strategies for the noob" is, maybe, the best way to start the PVP section. So my request for you all will be this...

What are some of the basic everyone should know? Obviously things like general balancing of shields and tac team, but what else? What should people know about the basic PVP roles and once they choose one, what will be expected of them by thier teammates? And I think a big one, what misconceptions should we be trying to break them of with this fundamental play style change?

A few, off the top of my head:
- Just because a guy is an Engineer or in a Cruiser doesn't meant that he doesn't need a heal every now and then
- Absolutely always cross-heal. Your #1 way to survive is by keeping your teammates alive, even if you're a Tac/Escort.
- Stay away from Aux to Batt.
- Watch for SNBs. If you see a teammate that's nuked, SciTeam him. If you're a Sci, don't SNB just because it's up - wait for when your target is either massively buffed or is getting large amounts of heals from others.

This is good stuff.

Maybe one of the most basic things to point out would be that this is an MMO. You are queuing up to participate in a group to achieve objectives as a team. Thoughts should almost always be about how your actions, your build, your strategies and communication can better benefit the team. It's so obvious that it's over looked sometimes and most often simply forgotten.

This is an MMO. You aren't playing alone so stop acting like it.
