Somebody explain why he can't dismiss and reclaim a C-Store ship again?
Because the title and topic post are apparently misleading.
The problem is that this individual bought the maximum number of ship slots in the CStore for their main character.
Now any reward that comes with additional ship slots, when attempting to unlock, fails entirely and they do not receive any of the reward.
So at 500 days when a ship slot tries to unlock it can't, and because of that the rest of the reward fails to unlock as well, the entire reward is botched and they don't get the Jupiter Uniform, nor the Relentless title.
It's actually not about having too few ship slots, or not enough room for new ships.
Pretty sure a GM ticket or Support ticket won't directly help as this pretty much has to be a bug, and relate back to code which can't be dealt with by either. The best that could be hoped for through submitting tickets there is that they'll pass it along, essentially refiling it as a bug ticket (which may or may not get it more attention since it came from support/GM staff).
That will most likely be the excuse to just close his tickets and not give him any further support when they could go the extra mile and do one of the following:
Remove 2 of his Ship Slots and issue a C-Point Refund.
Grant him the accolades, titles and costume unlocks from the bugged rewards manually.
I'd think #1 would be the easiest for support to do. But it requires a special hand to get them to override the "no refunds policy". I know I wouldn't have received satisfactory support on a customer service issue if it wasn't for StormShade who kindly took up my problem internally to get it resolved.
Read my main character's Bio. I am a ship collector. I collected all of the Starfleet ships on that character. Now everything is being awarded through character slots. I can't even get my frakin Relentless [500 day] Sub reward because of this now. I am ****ed.
How did I miss that character profiles like this were on the website? Is this new?

Those have been there since launch. You can basically view the equivalent of the "My Characters" page (currently under the "Community" tab) of most people. This used to be easier to do because there was a "Captains Database" that existed where you could search users/characters and look at them. The Captains Database has since been removed, but the links to character profiles they provided are still valid.
And the ranks have always been a little messed up. More so when the level cap raised.
