Has anyone else noticed that Beam Target Shields Subsystem 1 drains the shield subsystem far more than its counterpart Target Subsystems? It also appears to drain more energy than Beam Target Shields Subsystem III.

As for the BOFF ability doing better than the Science Ship natural target shields, I wouldn't doubt it. A trained skill should be better than an inherent.

As for vs. BTS III? No clue.

BTS 1 is bugged which is why you see it with a much higher drain than it should have.

The tooltip is bugged, not the actual drain.

I would not believe that, considering that BTS 1 on my science ships will fully drop the shields of a tactical cube.

When the shields drop on any given ship, it's the random chance you have disabled the shield system, not necessarily draining all of the power.

Not true. The proc to disable only disables the facing shield, and is nearly instant. However, if all the shields drop after a few seconds, then the power drain has put it to zero.

Besides that, it happens every single time. It is guaranteed if I hit a target with target shields 1 in the STFs, it will lose its shields after a few seconds.

I have tested with a player on ts3. my bts:s1 drains -81 or 82 power.

BTS does not have a chance to proc the entire shield subsystem offline. Just the shield facing only.
