We are aware there is a queue to log in at this time.
We're aware of a Skill Points issue some Romulans may be experiencing, as well as players not being able to delete mail, and are working towards a resolution.

The shields w/borg are, the full sets aren't nearly as bad. On the other hand it forces teamwork to get kills in most cases which I guess isn't a bad thing. Imo, pvers' whining won the day (see thread on stf gear and how they still complain about the sets).
The Maco shields are a bit much. There's been some tests in Kerrat and a unbuffed stationary escort can take a BO3, with it's shields being hardly scratched. After all the increases in cap, I think the 10% shield resist is now far too much and should be gotten rid of.
The Omega 2-piece set bonus is also a bit much. This is going to be a problem. While against an NPC it's effect is hardly noticable (probably due to high shield HP), against a player this thing shreds shields to bits, since it probably ignores resists which is a big part of shield tanking. I'm having fun using it, don't get me wrong, but that isn't the point (since my targets are desperately trying to tank against it and failing).
The Klingon shield isn't so bad, if it just didn't have that placate.
As for the Borg set, after all those carebears complained about the changes making it underpowered (which it wasn't), it's almost back to being as overpowered as before. Just now it's got a few more incentives to use...
Of course, what would have helped is if a good portion of the PvP community had actually tried these out on tribble (enough so we could get a pvp match) and commented on them before they came out on live.
Yeah, the Mako shield is the best! Last night at Ker'rat a buddy of my fleet shows me how he can tank with this marvelous component, and still I don't believe what I saw!
But 40 edc, where do I find the time to complete all these STF?
i have a great idea, lets remove every bit of any extra stats on any capt, boff, doff, ships, equips, weaps!!!
that way the ONLY difference will be the artwork
that way EVERYONE can have an equal chance to beat everyone else with no extra accolades or advantages! doesn't that sound nice?
seriously folks its all about fun, challenge and experimentation, if you guys wanna bellyasche about advantages, play tic tac toh or ..... experiment, strategize, and have fun!
Their good, but OP? I guess it depends on the situation, I'm running the MK11 MACO shield on my MVAM with 3 Borg pieces, one good team of Klingons, without P2W consoles, tore my ship apart. Uncoordinated teams simply accuse me of double shielding and leave it at that. I don't think either set, in itself or mixed and matched is OP, I think it's more that these are the first "worth grinding for" thing since the Borg set.
I wouldn't worry too much though folks, I'm sure the MACO will get a shield reduction and the KHG will get a lower placate chance, why am I sure of this? Because it's easier for Cryptic to nerf than it is for 5 people to shoot the same target at the same time.
