A much needed change for STO.

I reactivated my account about a month before you guys went F2P, I had played up until Season 1 prior then stopped for about two years. The game was nearly identical as from when I left it(not in a bad way), and in the last month before the F2P launch, the game has in my opinion been polished heavily.

Everything is more clear, more quick, and more fun now.

Dilithium leads the way for the best change so far, It provides old vets like myself the chance at quickly tooling up my ships and away teams without spending hours grinding for good gear. Thank you for this, I hope the Dilithium Exchange stays fair and balanced and is being over-regulated so that there aren't boom-bust cycles.

The UI, the re-tool of the Level system with Skill Points and the rebuilding of most of the skills in the game has greatly increased the appeal of the game. It is now much easier to to understand and build your characters the way you want them to be.

The F2P launch will hopefully be constantly bringing in droves of new players to the game, which should hopefully allow PvP to thrive at the lower ranks.

Two years ago it wasnt a problem to level from Lt. to VA using only PvP, but just this month leading up to the F2P launch, there was no such thing as a klingon below the rank of commander, and most low rank fed players were avoiding PvP or simply no where to be seen.

I will be checking out STO F2P tonight for the first time, and I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised by the influx of players, I will be making a new Officer simply to attempt to Level using only PvP.

In anycase, Congratulations Cryptic-PerfectWorld staff members, you've done a great job, please keep up the good work.
