I gave up on PVP a long time ago. Even after respecing my ship specifically for PVP, I just got tired of being nearly one-shotted by klinks that were cloak camping behind the spawnpoint.

PVP is dead for good?
Klingons are never afraid. If you don't see us, then we're cloaked and about to attack. Too bad you starfleet types run away too fast.

1.) Its the freaking hat of the klinkers to hit and run. If, for example, a BoP pilot notices his attack did jack shiite, he is not gonna hang around a swarm of angry cruisers, escorts and sci vessels.
B'rel captains certainly have not bought that ship to then simply ignore its special ability.

2.) Running from overwhelming opposition is, especially in arenas, vital for the teams success.
Arena has no use for HEROES that stand bravely in the face of overwhelming odds. Every kill counts. Avoid handing out those kills. By running smartly.

3.) Klinker population is low.

4.) considering the number of feds overall ,the number of feds showing up for pvp is low.

5.) I am mainly fed, and i want more pvp. so Q up ^^
Pe'Taq!
One bird of prey is more than a match for any starfleet cruiser....let alone two of your garbage luggers...
Unlike Starfleet who continually calls for reinforcements, Klingons are great hunters. We continue to evaluate your weaknesses in battle. The fact that a klingon may not atttack you outright is because the captain of the vessel is laughing at your weaknesses and is mostlikely getting drunk on bloodwine!

Pe'Taq! We Klingons never cheat. We have something called....skill and technology. I can think of atleast two reasons why a negvar battlecruiser is able to outmanuver you in battle. One is received from the ferenghi...The other has something to do with engineering.

I have told you too much....but I do enjoy the hunt. Live well earther....for tomorrow your crew will be the guests of the Klingon Empire...and your vessel will be a burning...forever tumbling....in space....lifeless....

But it is far from dead, as updates and fixes can come up at any point in the future.
Dear Krtr....
Klingons do not look for fight PVP when an earther wants to die early.... We fight for two reasons: 1) when our honor calls us to fight, and 2) to hone our already exceptional skills in battle.

Only earthers look for battle and then hide behind the Prime Directive when the tide of battle turns against them.

Care for some Earl Grey? IKF Vixen has crates of this foul liquid...Captured from one of many starfleet ships.... I forget which one...

Yes pvp is dead...right now its impossible for lower level, medium levels and ( il find out shortly ) higher levels to complete there pvp dailys, for ground and space.

PVP is broken / dead. It needs attention or it will stay dead. Cryptic plz stop putting things in casino bags, the cstore and actually do something with your pvp.....might be an idea....
Uss tiberius....Didn't I destroy this ship? In any case....I guarantee to you that there are more than five klingons around. There just is no sport in the destruction of a starfleet vessel. Wild game in the fields of Quonos gives more of a challenge....

I;m one for hit and run lol cause i seem to get 6-1 so its gets annoying when u get blown up everytime though its part of 1 of my quests is to be killed by starfleet 25 times lol

but anyone who calls klingon cowards should step in and face us in battle to the death as you will lose
Qap'La brother....
To another klingon warrior, I shall respond nicer than I usually do. Cryptic has damaged PVP. The queue system is a joke. They feel that five klingons are needed to battle against five federation opponents. I loved the days when there were only one of two of us klingons in battle against a queue of five + federation...*coughs*...warriors. We would send them to Grethor before they raised their weapons to fire. Now we have to convince other klingons to give up drinking their bloodwine, to school some starfleet personnel. The queue system needs to allow perhaps a two person minimum.....not five!!

No. The method of key binding is specifically setup to avoid an "I win button" and if you send a hypothetical "cheat" command to the server, it's just going to ignore it because no such command exists on it's end.

2: Hit and run tactics are what Klingons do. It's doubly encouraged by giving Birds of Prey (aka Raiders, get it?) a Battle Cloak. The question up thread was brilliant. Why should a lone ship hang out in a swarm of big mean cruisers, escorts, and science ships? To make the other players feel better and give the other team an easy kill? I think not!

3: I'm no PvP or Klingon expert only having really started a Klingon character in earnest this week (Captain 32, now!). But, I've been playing continuously since launch and I've been on more than my fair share of Fed teams that got rolled by Klingon PvPers who were masters at their craft because they had nothing else to do.

4: Again, I'm not an uber player, but I know what my personal, albeit anecdotal, observations have been. The Klingons in PvP actually work together, or at least have been playing PvP for far, far, far, far longer and more often than their average Fed counterpart. 9 times out of 10, when I'm on a Fed team, they don't even bother to team. How can I easily see who needs heals and where they are? Outside of the times my Public Fed team would get lucky and get a Science Officer setup to heal, not once in nearly two years has anyone in a public group lent me even one single heal in PvP.

Or, rather, my experience has been that public Federation teams take on the hero mentality. Every man for himself. The Klingons learned the hard way that doesn't work in this game, so for the most part, they adapted and they win.
I like you. You speak the truth about us...

Warrior Krenn,
It is clearly your skill in battle, brother.... a negh'Var cruiser is like a sharp bat'leth.... With every kill we learn more and more about them. Never fall into the cries of starfleet.... They lie continously...this is why there can never be peace with the Federation..... Many earthers have continued to carry the banner of that traitor James Kirk....they continue the lies....the deceit....the treachery. They have no concept of honor. A targ has more honor... I have given up in trying to teach them what honor means....
