Is it just me or is there no klings willing to fight in pvp anymore? Been this way since lvl 1 through to where im at now at rear admiral. Then if they do bother to join they just cloak / run away but thats IF they bother to join in pvp match which usualy takes over an hour of queing?

Why don't you just reach the VA level? I assume that 95% of active KDF players at LG.
I think the pvp that does go on is probably private queues. public ones are very quiet but people have done the same maps for so long that there is little fun in doing them over and over.
the people that do want to pvp probably dont bother because they know its dead making it even worse.
once we have new maps, new games types and new rewards then people will no doubt come back and play. people need a reason to play, be it fun or rewards and both are missing at the moment.
The Feds are just as lazy. Whenever I'm on my KDF there are no Feds in the que...infact the que is 0:0 most of teh time...reminds me of SWG's battlefronts....

I see more feds joining que than klings, way more. infact most of the games can't start because there are feds 5 and kling 0-2....so game can not start...
I think we all agree pvp is dead, what can be done to get people to play pvp again? I dont understand why players dont pvp, I like pvp but at this rate I can't even complete pvp missions never mind pvping for pleasure...
I have never played an MMO with this much dead pvp, never, semi quiet sometimes in some mmo's but completely no matches running in the whole game for hours at a time. Never seen it before.
Sounds more like EVERYONE is a coward, since there a is a same faction PvP queue as well and that never fills up either.
Yes, it is not the "Klingons" is simply that NOBODY likes STO PvP that much anymore.
It's still happening, I dunno if PvP made arena mode more popular. Capture and Hold still works and people are dueling or shooting Cubes in Ker'rat as well.

Maybe you're playing during off-peak hours, but I never have a problem getting into PvP matches (EST here). FvF or FvK.
Usual downtime is ~5 minutes between matches, sometimes ~10.

Not that hard to do. Aux to Damp + EPtE + Omega set. Putting Aux to ID on a Vorcha can put it on par (if not higher than) the base turn rate of some Escorts. Add in the rest of the turn rate bonuses and you've got a highly potent healBoat that's also quite potent at DPSing via Dual Heavy Cannons.
F2P flood and STF being good enough rules out any need to play PvP in my book. PvP needs a massive change. No doubt it will come in one big patch when Cryptic are ready.
If a whole new PvP does not come this year I can't see why I would not go to SWTOR and try that again after that has a year of improvements.
PVP is broken / dead. It needs attention or it will stay dead. Cryptic plz stop putting things in casino bags, the cstore and actually do something with your pvp.....might be an idea....
