Klinks are not cowards, first off PVP is broken and will always be broken.

The ship balances are skewed in the favor of the klinks, infact I am rolling my 3rd klink and it is becoming quite obvious why Feds are getting frustrated palying versus klink. From Hull repair drones, to spam from pets to bolstered ships to better turn rate to broken consoles and i can keep going on and on and on..the balance is just off in favor for the klingons

I guess this is the way of Cryptic showing love to the klingons after all the months and months of neglect.

Bet my bottom dollar the new Klink capital ship will wipe the floor with the enterprise -F.

I don't exactly agree or disagree with you, but the ships, consoles, etc are only as effective as the player using them.

On Topic.

A current balance issue that I ran into last night was in Kerrat, Is the ever increasing Fed/KDF player imbalance. I felt rusty at PvP from doing a bunch of STFs, so I went to Kerrat and was introduced to a 10Fed vs 1Klink scenerio. I'm not complaining that I was horrible beaten time and time again, although it was frustrating not being able to get 10km from the spawn point before seeing the respawn counter.
I know I know, sometimes this thing happens. I know and except that. Sometimes that zone gets all one sided for a little while.
It happens. One side or the other will get strong representation once in a while.
So I left Kerrat for a couple hours to get some other stuff done.
I went back later just to enter the same scenerio as before.
New people, same game.

Where as I don't like or dislike it I'm just meh because after while it just kind of gets boring doing the same thing over and over and over again with no major gain made from it. It's like grinding without getting something for it.

Bolstered ships? How so?

The Cloak?

The better turn rate of a Battle Cruiser to a fed Cruiser?
No KDF raptor has a turn rate of 17. Three Fed escorts do.
Fed science vessel have an average turn rate of 11+, topping at 14. KDF support vessels are identical in turn rate.

Cannons? Meh, a false advantage on anything but an escort.

Slightly higher Hull?
High level fed sceince vessels have more Hull than KDF support craft.
Only the Qin has more hull than high-end fed escorts, by 3300 points. a single Quatum can even those odds. Meh.
Cruisers have 39,000 hull at VA, with only the Negh'var being equal. All others fall 3000 hull points less.
With the bulls-eye painted VoQ being highest ingame. Hardly an advantage.

Or is about the BoP? the squishiest ship ingame with the lowest numbers for all stats except turnrate.

OK to start with I have been here for almost 2 yrs and the last year or so soley as a klingon ... I really dont think for the most part anyways that our ships are OP ... maybe the carrier's really dont know as I dont fly them ... I have watched the developer's time and time again favor the fed side ... And was glad to see them finally pay attention to the klingon side for a change ... But then what did they do they decided to give feds the MACO Shield ... Which is OP as hell ... Aint no way a tac in an escort should be able to tank 3 BoPs all with very high DPS and Alpha's to boot but yet feds in escorts with those shields are doing just that ... I have seen it 1st hand...Its actuall;y easier now days since the Maco shield came out to kill a cruiser than it is to kill an escort And as far as PVP's I am in them every day and 1/2 the time I am waiting on feds to que more than the other way around ...

I was with you on a couple of occasions in CnH where we saw the MACO effect. Pretty soon the feds will be almost impossible to kill because the MACO effect will be exponentially worse when more cruiser and SV pilots realize the uber-ness that the MACOs provide.

So feds got something this time, so everyone is up in arms about it? Honestly i dont get it:

Klinks get carriers reworked after season 2 was it? - everything is fair

Klinks get spam added to pvp matches while feds are still fighting with 5 ships vs 35 -everything is fair

klinks get sci vessels they wanted that also throw out pets if am not mistaken - everything is fair

Klinks get carrier pets that can launch hull heal drones & shield heal drones to allied ships plus the drones offer stealth to neary by allied ships in pvp matches on top of all the cross healing they are allowed where as feds get nada - everything is fair

Klinks get a whole pile of new ships with some fancy consoles to sport -everything is fair

to target: -15 All Power Systems every second
to target: 24 Radiation Damage every second

Feds get one or two new sets - OMG the world is coming to an end

ok ok so as long as feds get something that will offer a fighting chance against all the above ...yup its time to rally up the nerf calls and banners because its broken. Maybe Maco is broken, i dont have one yet, but maybe it needs to be the way it is to counterbalance all of the above??
