Is it possible not to have server maintenance on the weekends. This is prime game time and it really upsets people. I'm for server maintenance to keep the game running in tip top shape but we can't have maintenance when everyone is on.

Well, at least the daily maintenance gives me some time to do something useful. like grocery-shopping or cleaning the bathroom.

I count four there.

I've been playing now for just over 2 weeks and am now used to the daily maintenance. It's always around tea time for me 4.pm-5pm so I dont have much of a problem with it. I realise that most of us are just fat , sad, guys/gals who sit at the computer eating cheesy puffs all day so have no need to move, especially if you also have a comode, but maybe a little excercise of the body as well of the mind wont go a miss every now and then.

I've noticed my mistake..'there and three'. deffo need some time away from computer, eyes are mashed up.

This last week reminds me of the similar problems they had almost a year ago and where dstahl made the following post that made my day: http://forums.startrekonline.com/sho....php?p=3352217

Apparently someone thought it was a good idea to put a gui on the game servers. I'm almost afraid of thinking of what other poor choices they've made regarding cpu schedulers and memory managers...

I wonder why Cryptic has to have so many restarts, it's honestly the worst games company I know in that sense (I love cryptic, but this part they seem to really suck at) Any chance of a clue from someone more technically minded - is it just skimping on hardware costs or is there a more serious reason to it?
